Pop Up Pilates Class

Pilates is a mind-body exercise with an emphasis on breath and alignment.

Service Description

Classes include strengthening exercises targeting every part of the body, with stretches incorporated throughout. Options for various levels of experience and fitness abilities will be provided; anyone can benefit from this wonderful form of movement. About Cynthia I’m Cynthia, and I started as a Pilates student 20 years ago when a friend invited me to a local class. The changes I noticed in my body, and the confidence I gained inspired me to want to share the magic with others. I began with a certification in Core Strength and Stretch from YMCA, and went on to get my Pilates certification from East to West Yoga and Pilates. I've taught since 2009, including at many fitness centres and studios, like Astral Fitness, Vitality Fitness, Workshop Dance Studio, and the City of Ottawa. I've also had the pleasure of instructing young athletes with the Nepean Synchronized Swim Club.
