Mini Day Retreat - Yoga & Art in the Gazebo

I will be co-creating a relaxing afternoon for you all with Cheryl Turner from Reimagined Art and Design.

Your retreat includes a relaxing chair yoga class. Followed by a break, with the opportunity to roam the tranquil and and peaceful property of Asanda Yoga. Relax and enjoy a delicious high tea for lunch. Cheryl will then guide us through this playful alcohol ink art project.

In this afternoon workshop, you’ll discover the vibrant, fluid beauty of alcohol inks—a medium known for its unpredictability, organic movement, and bold color. Cheryl will guide you through a variety of techniques including blending, layering, and using tools like brushes, felt, and air to move the inks. You’ll then create your own abstract floral or landscape artwork on a special synthetic paper, embracing the magic of letting go and allowing the inks to lead the way. No art experience necessary—all materials are provided.
